CHARLESTON — Byron High School's boys track and field season concluded in the IHSA 2A State Championship at Eastern Illinois University from May 29-31.
Sam Gentz finished 18th with a mark of 14.63 meters in the shot put and Tim Starwalt finished 24th with a time of 9:59.92 in the 3200-meter run.
