Byron Police investigated an accident with minor injuries that occurred in the 600 block of E. Blackhawk. Involved were Darrell Reed, 38 of Byron, and Yvette Dewispelaere, age 58 of Rockford. Reed was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

Paul Dote, 34 of Belvidere, was issued a citation for Speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph Zone.
Santiago Gomez-Serna, 33 of Belvidere, was issued a citation for Speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph Zone.

Ronald Seymour, 32 of Roscoe, was issued a citation for Speeding 47 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

Byron Police arrested Vern Rosenthal, 48 of Belvidere, for Driving While License is Revoked. Rosenthal was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred at the intersection of River Rd. and S. Union. Involved were Kaitlyn Lawson, 22 of Byron, and Kimberly Banegas, 35 of Byron. Lawson was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
