KINGSTON — The Byron High School varsity cross country team saw its boys finish third and its girls place second during the Matt Walter Invitational at Walcamp Park on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Tim Starwalt won the individual title for the boys, finishing first in 15:39.31. Braden Dietrich took 19th in 16:53.52 and Michael Muzzarelli landed in 23rd with a time of 17:10.09.
Ashley Potter led the girls, finishing sixth with a time of 19:01.50. Elinor McHale and Emma Franchi placed 17th and 18th with respective times of 20:34.09 and 20:37.65.
