OREGON — The Stillman Valley High School varsity girls cross country team finished seventh in the IHSA 1A Oregon Regional at Oregon Park West on Saturday, Oct. 26 to advance to the sectional meet. Stillman Valley also sent two individuals from the boys team, Adam Mendoza and Evan Jones, through to the sectional meet in Rock Island on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Stillman Valley had five girls including Zoe Larson (23rd), Nola Ivy-Friberg (33rd), Anna Bogner (37th), Josselyn Sandoval (49th) and Olivia Voltz (56th) race in the regional meet. Mendoza (16th) and Jones (26th) were two of the seven Cardinal boys who participated in the regional race on Oct. 26.
