Dale E. Ermey, age 82, of Juda, Wis., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home. Dale was born on Feb. 18, 1938, in Adeline, the son of the late George E. and Louise L. (Frickson) Ermey. He attended Leaf River schools and was united in marriage to Nellie Sheely on Nov.18, 1962. He worked for the Illinois Central Railroad for 30 years before retiring.
Nellie M. Ermey, age 82, of Juda, Wis., died Friday, May 8, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Nellie was born on March 30, 1938, in Dixon, the daughter of Galen and Dorothy (Kump) Sheely. She graduated from Mt. Morris Community High School and worked at Watts Publishing Company prior to her marriage. Dale and Nellie lived in Red Oak, IL before moving to Monroe, Wis., in 1968. In 1973, the couple moved to a farmette in rural Juda.
Dale and Nellie are survived by five children, Alex Ermey of Juda, Andrew (Gayle) Ermey of Monroe, Aneasa (Victor) Bellrichard of Whitewater, Wis., Allen (Kristen) Ermey of Juda, Angela (Brent) Denhof of Howards Grove, Wis.; 19 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; Dale’s brother, Lawrence Ermey of Stillman Valley; Nellie’s siblings, Beverly Yount, Fred (Beverly) Sheely, Gary (Sandy) Sheely, all of the Mt. Morris area; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. They were preceded in death by their parents; Nellie’s brother-in-law, Jerry Yount; and her nephew, Daniel Sheely.
