FORRESTON – On Sunday, Oct.21, Forreston High School Scholastic Bowl competed in the Bergstrom Stateline Quiz Bowl in Rockford.
Stateline Quiz Bowl features students from 32 local high schools in a 31-week, tournament-style contest program that will test their knowledge and compete for a scholarship to Northern Illinois University. Eric Wilson from WTVO is the host of the show.
Forreston’s match vs. Rockford Boylan will air on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m. on Channel 17 WTVO, again on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 8:30 a.m. on Rockford's My TV Network and a final time on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox 39 WQRF. Members of the Forreston High Scholastic Bowl are Trevor Drayton, James Fisher, Nicole Fox, Timothy Lima, Annie Timmer and Aaron Wubbena. Donna Gronewold is the Scholastic Bowl Coach.
