LEAF RIVER – Kay E. McGill, age 83, of Leaf River passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 10, 2020. She was born in Leaf River on May 16, 1936 the daughter of Kenneth Lewis Emmanuel and Jessie Viola (Nichols) Kretsinger.
She married Melvin McGill on Aug. 12, 1979 in Leaf River. She worked for many years as an LPN in area nursing homes. Kay was a member of the Leaf River Historical Society. She loved crossword puzzles especially the ones in newspapers. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing and camping with her husband and gardening.
She is survived by her brothers, Robert Kretsinger, Richard (Connie) Kretsinger, and Kenneth (Jeannie) Kretsinger all of Leaf River; sister in law, Dianna Kretsinger; numerous nieces and nephews; step-children, Brenda, Cindy, and Cameron; 7 step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
She is predeceased in death by her parents, husband, first husband George Rosenbalm; siblings, Millard, Merritt, Kathleen, Wayne, and Donald, and step son Bobby.
