Letter: Displeasure with senators

Posted

Dear editor,

I am writing to express my displeasure with Illinois Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth voting on a Senate Bill to allow men to compete in women's sports. This is a constitutional afront to women and girls on two levels as it constitutes both an invasion of privacy (locker and bathrooms) as well as a violation of the original intent of Title IX, which was to both promote and offer more fairness in women's sports. This country needs more Riley Gaines and Caitlin Clarks' and less of these other "posers". We need role model women by biological birth to lift up our women and girls rather than sexual deviants invading their spaces and sports.
