OREGON — Oregon Living and Rehab recently had the great honor of celebrating a remarkable milestone with its resident, Mrs. Genevieve Maas, on her 105th birthday.

Genevieve was deeply moved by the outpouring of love and well wishes she received. She especially enjoyed reading the many heartfelt cards from the community. Her family joined her for this special celebration and were overjoyed to see her surrounded by so much happiness.

A big thank you to Felkers Foods bakery for providing the beautiful birthday cake, and to our charge CNA, Jen Hubbard, for baking the delicious cupcakes. We are also grateful to the Oregon Elementary School students for their handmade cards, the thoughtful nursing students, and the wonderful ladies at the city clerk's office for all their kind gestures.

Genevieve was especially delighted to have Oregon Mayor Ken Williams and WIFR-TV join the celebration. She shared that she will never forget this day and the love that was shown to her.

Thank you to everyone who helped make her 105th birthday so memorable!
