STILLMAN VALLEY – Marian I. Wiltfang, age 91, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Rockford. She was born Feb. 24, 1929 in Kings, the daughter of Arthur and Alice (Hayes) Onley.
Marian graduated from Stillman Valley High School in 1946. She than attended Alberto’s Beauty School in Rockford. Soon after graduation she became an instructor at the school. Marion also worked as a beautician at Margo’s Beauty Salon in Rockford. Marian married Hiram S. Wiltfang on Oct. 19, 1946 in Kings. He preceded her in death in 2003. Marian was a lifelong member of the Congregational Christian Church in Stillman Valley.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Hiram, 7 brothers, 2 sisters, grandson Bruce Wiltfang, Jr., and son-in-law James Longardner.
She is survived by her 7 children; Linda Longardner of Rockford, Rhonda (Gene) Hambley of Byron, Marcia (Richard) McGuire of Caledonia, Bruce (Tami) Wiltfang of Stillman Valley, Barbara (Mike) Connelly of Scottsdale, Ariz., Keith (Anne) Wiltfang of Stillman Valley, and Sonia (Matt) Rowley of Boise, Idaho, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family service will be held at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Stillman Valley with the Rev. Chris Brauns officiating. Burial will take place at the Stillman Valley Cemetery. A memorial fund is established for the Holt International, 250 Country Club Road, Eugene, OR 97401.
