Aug. 7

At about 2:04 p.m. the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hold up alarm at Holcomb Bank 400 E. IL Rt 38 Creston. Information received indicated a male subject wearing a black hat, Chicago Bears jersey with a bandage on his face obtained an undisclosed amount of United States currency and fled the location on foot. During the course of the investigation a Deputy recognized the suspect from previous contacts. William Wayne Clark II was arrested for Robbery a class 2 felony. Clark was transported and housed at the Ogle County Jail and will appear before an Ogle County Judge on Wednesday 08/08/2018.

And early the morning of Aug 8, Ogle County Sheriff’s Office Detectives took Jeremy L. Hines 37, of Rochelle into custody in connection with the Robbery of the Holcomb Bank on Tuesday. Hines has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property a class 3 Felony. Hines is currently housed in the Ogle County Jail and will appear before a judge later Wednesday. 

At 8:21 pm. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a semi-truck and trailer accident at Mount Morris Road and Montague Road. It was learned that a 2012 Freightliner driven by Douglas Bolzer, 57 of Scottsbluff Neb., was traveling east on Montague Road when it left the roadway and entered the south ditch causing the trailer to tip over and come to rest on its side.  No injuries were reported. Deputies were assisted at the scene by German Valley Fire and Maggio’s wrecker. Accident remains under investigation.

Janet Trejo, 24 of West Chicago was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County Failure to Appear Warrant. Trejo posted the $195 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.

James D Underhill, 29 of Ashton was arrested for 2 outstanding Theft Warrants with $10,000 10% and $30,000 10 percent bonds. Underhill remains in custody at the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court on 08-08-18 at 1 p.m.

Aug. 6

At 4:49 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at Illinois Rte 72 and Mulford Road. It was learned that a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Omar Corral, 36 of Plano was Southbound on Mulford and failed to stop at the intersection causing a 1992 Mitsubishi driven by Cody Brewington, 28 of Kirkland to strike the Ford.  No injuries were reported.  Omar received citations for Disobeying Traffic Control Device and Possession of Cannabis under 10 Grams. Omar was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Fireworks and Unlawful Possession of Adulterants to Defraud Drug and Alcohol Tests.  Omar was transported to the Ogle Co Jail and held without bond. Deputes were assisted at the scene by the Illinois State Police, Maggio’s wrecker and D&W Wrecker. Crash remains under investigation.

The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

Jayme L Comp, 41 of Elgin for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence with a $75,000 10 percent bond. Comp will appear in court on 08-07-18 at 1 p.m.

Jerry D Richardson, 18 of Mount Morris for Failure to Appear. Richardson posted the $431 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.

At about 12:17 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic battery complaint in the 8000 block of North River Drive. After an investigation, Mark C. Meyer, 50, of Byron was arrested for Domestic Battery

Aug. 5

The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Jackson, 31, of Davis Junction for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery. Jackson was arrested at his residence after deputies responded there for a disturbance. Jackson was transported to the Ogle County Correctional Center and held in lieu of bond to be set on 08/06/18.

At approximately 5 p.m., deputies responded to the 2000 block of North Daysville rd for a single vehicle crash. After conducting an investigation, Ignacio Martinez- Garcia, 34, of Northbrook, was arrested for Reckless conduct. Martinez-Garcia was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.

Aug. 3

At 4:22 a.m. Ogle County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Stillman Road southbound from Winnebago County line reference a possible intoxicated driver. A 2016 blue Dodge Charger was stopped at Stillman Road and Rt 72. The driver, Curtis A Hill, 71 of Rockford, was arrested for no valid driver’s license. Curtis was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he remained in lieu of bond.

At approximately 2:10 a.m. Ogle County Deputies responded to a Domestic Disturbance at 207 S. Main Street in Baileyville. After an investigation Rickie Smith was arrested for Domestic Battery. Smith was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Aug. 2

Aaliyah Bostic, 20 of Freeport, was arrest for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Bostic appeared in court and was given a lower bond of $50. Bostic posted that bond and will return to court on 8/27/18 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 1

Quintin T. McGee, 28, currently lodged in the Ogle County Jail, was charged with Violation of Order of Protection.

At 9:40 p.m., Deputies responded to the Ogle County Fair for a report of an intoxicated female in a vehicle. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Kendra Nesemeier, age 19 of Byron, for D.U.I and Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. Nesemeier was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
