July 26

The Ogle County Sheriff’s office arrested Quintin McGee, 29, of Stillman Valley for aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint. McGee was arrested by deputies on Valley Drive in Stillman Valley after the investigation of a domestic battery. McGee was held at the Ogle County jail in lieu of bond.

July 25

Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a tan Chevrolet Impala in the 7000 block N. IL. Rte 2 for speeding. After further investigation Robert Murbach of Byron was arrested for driving while license suspended. Murbach was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. He was also cited for speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Jeffrey Lee was arrested for CDL License Suspended. Lee had a bond of $5,000/10 percent. Lee posted the $5,000/10 percent bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Lee has to return to court on 08/17/18 at 9 a.m.

At 2:22 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Monroe Center EMS responded to the 7000 block of Kilbuck Rd. for the report of an ATV accident with injuries. After an investigation, it was determined that Angela K. Tatroe, a38, of Genoa had crashed her vehicle into a telephone pole, and there was no ATV involved. Angela was transported to OSF Saint Anthony’s Hospital for non life threatening injuries by Monroe Center EMS. Angela was arrested for Driving under the influence of alcohol, Driving while license Revoked, and several other traffic citations. Angela was released on a $3000 I-Bond.

Ogle County Deputies, along with the Polo Police department responded to a domestic problem at 16287 West Robin Road.  After an investigation Carrie L. Richardson was arrested for Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.  Richardson was taken to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

July 24

At approximately 7:57 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop on Rte. 2 just into Winnebago County. After investigation Deputies placed Ryan Rush, 34 of Byron under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Rush was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

July 23

The following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Jesse Dicken, 4 of Byron, for Driving While License Suspended. Dicken posted the $3,000.00/10 percent and will appear in court on 7/27/18 at 1 p.m.

James Jones, 30 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Jones remains at the Ogle County Jail with a bond of $426 and will appear in court on 7/24/18 at 1 p.m.

July 23

At approximately 10:41 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 3,000 Block of W. Egan Road. After investigation, Deputies placed Brooke Gruss, 25 of Leaf River under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Gruss was additionally issued citations for no valid registration, failure to surrender registration to SOS, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Gruss was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

July 20

James Britt, 23, of Rockford was arrested for Failure to appear. Britt had a bond of $323. Britt was able to post the $323 bond. Britt was released from the Ogle County Jail. Britt does not have to return for court.

At approximately 9:15 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Chevrolet Trax in the 1,000 block of W. Pines Road. As a result of that stop Chelsea A. Sondgeroth, 25, of Salt Lake City, UT was arrested for driving while license suspended. Sondgeroth was issued a citation for that charge along with an I-Bond and is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

July 19

Trevor Brown, 20 of Forreston, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Brown was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond and will appear in court on 07/30/18 at 9 a.m.

July 18

At 10:35 p.m. after a traffic stop on I39 Deputies arrested Steven Clark, 34 of Milwaukee WI., for Driving While License Revoked.  Clark was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Ther following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Kiarra Murray, 25 of DeKalb for Failure to Appear. Murray posted the $411 bond and will appear in court on 07/20/18 at 9 a.m.

Chelsie Smith, 34 of Freeport, for Failure to Appear. Smith has a bond of $486 and remains in the Ogle County Jail. She will appear in court on 07/20/18 at 9 a.m.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Dollar General in Davis Junction for a retail theft complaint. After an investigation, Stephanie L. Lewis, 19, of Davis Junction and Autumn M. Nelson, 21, also of Davis Junction were located in the 100 block of Jasmine Ave (Davis Junction) and arrested for Retail Theft.
