Aug. 23
At 12:04 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevy Impala at 4th Street and Washington Street in Oregon. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Raheem J. Martin, 28 of Dixon, for Unlawful Cannabis Container, Unlawful Use of Cannabis and Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs. Martin was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted on scene by Oregon Police.
Aug. 21
At 6:56 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies, Polo Police Department, Polo Fire Department, and the Polo Ambulance responded to an accident with injuries at Rt. 26 and Rt. 52. Gabrielle F. Klukaczynski, 18 of Princeton, was Southbound on Rt. 26 when she failed to stop for the stop sign. Klukaczynski struck an embankment before coming to a stop in a corn field. Klukaczynski was transported to KSB Hospital by the Polo Ambulance with multiple injuries. After a further investigation Ogle County Deputies met with Klukaczynski at KSB Hospital where she was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Disobeying a Stop Sign. Klukaczynski was given an I Bond and a September Court Date.
At about 2:18 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a crash involving an injury at Freeport Road and Sterling Road. Deputies learned that a 2014 Indian Motorcycle driven by Harley Vogt, 77 of Sterling, was traveling south on Freeport Road, failed to stop at the intersection and entered the south east ditch, coming to rest in a corn field. Harey Vogt was pronounced deceased on scene by the Ogle County Coroner. Deputies were assisted by Polo Fire and Ambulance along with the Polo Police Department. The crash remains under investigation.
Aug. 20
At approximately 1 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of IL Rte 26 and IL Rte 72. After an investigation it was determined that a silver Chrysler Pacifica being driven by Morgan R Steverson-Dunham, 26 of Hanover IL, was Eastbound on IL Rte 72. Steverson-Dunham failed to yield the right of way to Southbound traffic on IL Rte 26 and proceeded into the intersection directly into the path of a Southbound tractor- trailer semi. The driver of the semi, David W. Bellows, 55 of Sterling IL, and Steverson-Dunham were transported to Freeport Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained. Steverson-Dunham was issued citations for; Failure to Yield Right of Way, Driving While License Suspended, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. Steverson-Dunham is due to appear in Ogle County Court to answer to these charges at a later date.
Aug. 18
The Ogle County Sheriff Deputies arrested Wilson Hernandez, 29, of Rockford for Driving With No Valid License. Hernandez was arrested by Ogle County Sheriff Deputies on I-39 after being stopped for speeding. Hernandez was released on an I-Bond and will appear in Ogle County court at a later date.
At approximately 10:37 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the the area of Mud Creek Road and Hill Road. Following a brief investigation Deputies arrested Jose Velazques, 23 of Mt. Morris, for No Valid Driver's License. Velazques was issued and I-Bond and released from the scene with a future court date.
Aug. 17
The following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Brian Boyland, 41 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Boyland went to court and was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond. Boyland will be back in court on 09/27/20 at 9:00 a.m.
Roger Hauseman, 61 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Hauseman posted his $271 full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with no further court dates.
Aug. 16
At approximately 2:28 p.m., Ogle County deputies responded to 1450 North Illinois Route 2 in reference to a noise complaint. After an investigation Jason E. Stombaugh, 35 of Oregon was arrested for disorderly conduct. Stombaugh was given an I-bond and released.
Miranda Garcia was arrested by Ogle County Sheriff's Office for a Failure to Appear Warrant. Garcia has a bond of $3,280.25 (Full Cash). Garcia will go to court on 08/17/20 at 1 p.m. Garcia remains in custody in the Ogle County Jail.
Aug. 15
At approximately 9:34am Ogle County sheriff Deputies along with the Rochelle Police department responded to an unwanted subject in the 100 block of Ramona Ave. After an investigation Daniel Roman, 37 of Rochelle, was taken into custody for an outstanding Ogle County arrest warrant. Roman was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
At approximately 3:55 p.m., Ogle County deputies responded to the area of the 7000 block of North Illinois Route 2 for a complaint of a reckless driver. Ogle county deputies conducted a traffic stop at the inter section of Blackhawk Drive and Walnut Street in Byron. The driver of the vehicle, Stevie Moore, 40 of Bellwood was arrested for No valid drivers license, driving on a suspended drivers license, fleeing to elude, possession of a controlled substance ( cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy), obstructing identification. Moore was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no seat belt, and expired registration. Moore also had an outstanding Iowa City arrest warrant. The vehicle was removed by Nielson towing. Moore was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Aug. 14
At approximately 11:07 a.m. Ogle County Deputies responded to the area of Powers road in reference to a reckless driver. Ogle County deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of Powers Ave on a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee. After an investigation Richard J D'Onofrio, 61 of Esmond, was arrested for driving on a suspended Illinois drivers license. D'Onofrio was also cited for improper lane usage. Ron's towing removed the vehicle from the location and D'Onofrio was transported to the Ogle County jail for processing.
Aug. 11
Ogle County Sheriff Deputies arrested Andrew Davis, 28, of Alsip IL for Driving While License Revoked. Davis was arrested by Ogle County Sheriff Deputies on I-39 after being stopped for speeding. Davis was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Ogle County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Ogle County Highway Department, located at 1989 S. IL Rte 2 for the report of a theft. After an investigation, 41 year old Bowe Osborn of East Peoria, IL was arrested for two (2) counts of Criminal Trespass to Vehicle, two (2) counts of Theft From Vehicle, and Possession of Controlled Substance. After investigation, 38 year old Heather Krueger of Machesney Park, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Improper Container Cannabis Passenger. Both Bowe and Krueger were transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Aug. 10
Kelvin Jones, 37, of Rockford was arrested by Ogle County Sheriff's Office for an Aggravated Fleeing or Attempt to Elude Peace Officer Warrant. Jones has a bond of $50,000 (10%). Jones will go to court on 08/10/20 at 1 p.m. Jones remains in custody in the Ogle County Jail.
The following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants
Richard Gallagher, 36, of Oregon, for Failure to Appear warrant. Gallagher has a bond of $944 and will appear in court on 08/10/20 at 1 p.m.
Diane E. Dirickson, 38, of Rockford, for Failure to Appear warrant. Dirickson has a bond of $389 and will appear in court on 08/10/20 at 1 p.m.
Adam J. Satterfield, 42, Rochelle, for Failure to Appear warrant. Satterfield has a bond of $645 and will appear in court on 08/10/20 at 1 p.m.
Aug. 7
At 9:01 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of S. Rt. 26 for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Joe Molette, 22 of Chicago, was charged with Improper Cannabis Container. Molette was released on a notice to appear in court.
Aug. 6
Ogle County Sheriff Deputies responded to a disturbance at 10722 N. Pecatonica Rd. Two Neighbors were involved in an argument. As a result of the investigation, 63-year-old Kevin Anderson of Leaf River was arrested for Battery. Anderson was taken to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
