Aug. 13
Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash involving a 2013 Chevrolet driven by Jena L. Wehmhoefer, 31, Oregon, and a 2006 Ford driven by Lori L. Fagan, 60, Oregon. No citations were issued.
Aug. 14
At 10:48 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Larry E. Barnes, III, 29, Oregon, on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Barnes was also issued a traffic citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration and a civil citation for possession of cannabis less than 10 grams. Barnes was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 200 block of S. 4th Street.
Aug. 17
At 6:32 p.m., Oregon Police issued Isaiah C. Snapp, 17, Chana, a citation for speeding, too fast for conditions. This violation occurred in the high school student parking lot.
At 10:22 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Nathan M. Donoho, 26, Dixon, on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Donoho was also issued citations for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Donoho was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 500 block of N. 6th Street.
Aug. 18
At 11:00 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a hit and run that had occurred in the 300 block of Hill Street where an unknown vehicle struck a 2003 Buick belonging to Thomas L. Raleigh, 59, Oregon. Anyone having any information regarding this incident, please contact the Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2803.
At 10:48 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Max A. Brown, 53, of Lawrenceville, IL, for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol content greater than .08 percent. Brown was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of E. Washington Street.
Aug. 19
At 12:32 a.m., Oregon Police took two 15-year-old male juveniles of Oregon into limited custody for being in violation of the curfew ordinance. Both juveniles were released into their parent’s custody with verbal warnings.
2 parking tickets and 5 verbal/written warnings were issued from 8/13/18 through 8/19/18.
