At 12:11 a.m., Oregon Police issued Kevin M. Wiegand, 46, Franklin Grove, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 400 block of E. Washington Street.
At 1:57 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of S. 10th Street resulting in the arrest of Edward J. Sloter, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, for domestic battery. Sloter was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 8:53 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jerry L. Ingle, 20, of Belvidere, citations for driver’s license not on person and loud exhaust, no muffler. These violations occurred in the 300 block of N. 4th Street.

July 10
At 10:52 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Joseph H. Kielsmeier, Jr., 32, Leaf River, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Kielsmeier was also issued citations for illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver, license not on person, driving in the wrong lane, failure to signal when required, and no valid registration. Kielsmeier was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 700 block of W. Washington Street.
July 11,
At 7:17 p.m., Oregon Police issued William J. Untz, 59, Oregon, a citation for pedestrian under the influence of alcohol – in roadway. This violation occurred in the 900 block of Jefferson Street.
July 12
At 9:19 p.m., Oregon Police issued Matthew W. Otten, 32, Oregon, a citation for intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway. This violation occurred at the intersection of River Road and IL. Route 64.
July 13
At 10:48 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Washington and 5th Street involving a 2009 Toyota driven by Paul R. Rees, 81, Oregon, and a 2014 Chrysler driven by Christina G. Jordan, age 39, Oregon. No citations were issued.
At 7 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Tyler W. Dale, 36, Freeport, on an outstanding arrest warrant for three counts of impersonating a peace officer in Freeport. Dale was also issued a civil citation for the possession of drug paraphernalia. Dale was transported to the Ogle County jail.
July 15
At 12:06 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Joshua A. Gorzny, 28, Polo, for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol content greater than .08 percent. Gorzny was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. 2nd Street.

At 7 p.m., Oregon Police issued a city citation to Robert M. Disch, 47, Oregon, for violating the nuisance ordinance for trash/rubbish. This violation occurred in the 500 block of S. 2nd Street.
At 8:29 p.m., Oregon Police issued Matthew A. Swanson, 34, of Prophetstown, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
July 18
At 12:05 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Trisha E. Dempewolf, 31, Mount Morris, for driving while license suspended and driving under the influence of alcohol. Dempewolf was also issued citations for disobeying a traffic control device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver. Dempewolf was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred at the intersection of 3rd and Franklin Streets.
At 12:45 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jeffrey P. Wilkie, 53, of Villa Park, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
July 19
At 7:21 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jonathan U. Acosta-Arizmendi, 17, Mount Morris, a citation for failure to wear a seat belt as a driver. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
July 20
At 9:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Tammie O. Votaw, 54, Oregon, citations for operating a vehicle with an expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
July 21
At 11:44 p.m. Oregon Police responded to a domestic call at 700 E. Washington Street resulting in the arrest of Jennifer N. Lenderman, 30, of Machesney Park, for battery. Lenderman was also taken in on an outstanding Winnebago County warrant for failure to appear. Lenderman was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 7:28 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Larry E. Barnes, III, 29, Oregon, on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Barnes was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 11:20 p.m., Oregon Police issued Quinn P. Rothermel, 20, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred at the intersection of Madison and 3rd Streets.
July 22
At 9:06 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Robert M. Disch, 47, Oregon, for harassment through an electronic device. Disch was transported to the Ogle County jail.
