Oct. 6
At 6:07 a.m., Oregon Police responded to the intersection of Washington and 4th Streets for a two-vehicle traffic crash involving a 2020 Jeep driven by Stephanie K. Freeze, 45, Mt. Morris and a 2014 Ford driven by William J. Holloway, age 57, of Leaf River. Freeze was issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device.
At 3:09 p.m., Oregon Police issued Paige M. Beauchem, 16, Chana, a citation for speeding, 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Adams Street.
Oct. 7
At 9:33 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Alyssa P. Wright, 22, of Aurora, on two DuPage County warrants, one for failure to appear for dangerous drugs, and one for driving while license suspended. Wright was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Oct. 8
At 4:33 a.m., Oregon Police issued James R. Druien, 55, Byron, a citation for speeding, 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 800 block of N. 4th Street.
At 11:36 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the parking lot for the IL Secretary of State’s Office located at 1302 Pines Road involving a 2008 Chevrolet driven by David E. Johnson, 82, Byron, and a parked 2000 Ford owned by Roy R. Ennenga, Jr., 39, Oregon. No citations were issued.
At 2:28 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Gerald L. Otten, 62, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Otten was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Oct. 9
At 4:27 p.m., Oregon Police issued Amber L. Jordan, 36, Oregon, a city citation for violating the nuisance animal ordinance of allowing a dog to run at large. This violation occurred in the 700 block of Jefferson Street.
At 9:16 p.m., Oregon Police issued Joshua M. Deuth, 29, Oregon, a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of Jefferson and 10th Streets.
At 11:31 p.m., Oregon Police issued Peter K. Brauchler, 25, Oregon, a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of River Road and E. Washington Street.
Oct. 10
At 2 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Richard W. Major, 53, Oregon, for possession of a stolen debit card. Major was also issued a civil citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Major was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Oct. 11
At 8 p.m., Oregon Police issued one 14-year-old male juvenile, of Oregon, a city citation for the offense of littering. This violation occurred in the 400 block of S. 6th Street.
