At 4:07 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 400 block of W. Washington where a 2005 Chrysler driven by Hunter D. Furman, 21, Stillman Valley, struck a 2013 Dodge driven by Mackenzie D. Graham, 27, Oregon. Furman was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. A passenger in Furman’s vehicle, Nolan M. Wortman, 21, Stillman Valley, was issued a citation for unlawful possession of cannabis as a passenger.

At 6:00 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 1300 block of W. Washington Street involving a 2020 Volkswagen driven by Robert W. Taylor, age 26, of Monroe, WI, and a 2021 Ford driven by Tabitha N. Hayenga, age 48, Mt. Morris. No citations were issued.

At 10:03 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 300 block of N. 4th Street resulting in the arrest of Marissa A. Jimenez, 26, Oregon, for domestic battery. Jimenez was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 11:06 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Washington and N. 4th Streets involving a 2009 Buick driven by Douglas S. Carr, 51, Oregon, and a 2015 Nissan driven by Abigail R. Duke, age 16, Oregon. Carr was issued a citation for driving too fast for conditions.
At 7:46 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Melisa L. Carreno, 34, Belvidere, on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear on a larceny charge. Carreno was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 4:34 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Peter W. Smith, 18, Kings, for aggravated criminal sexual abuse. This violation occurred in Lower Park West, 1400 block of Koontz Place. Smith was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 7:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Samual C. Giambelluca, 32, Rockford, a citation for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for non-insurance. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.

At 3:34 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Charles W. Fostrom, 42, from Davenport, Iowa, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Fostrom was released on his recognizance and issued a new court date.

At 5:54 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 100 block of Moring Court resulting in the arrest of Oscar Hernandez, 41, Oregon, for domestic battery, and the arrest of Fred L. McCarty, 32, Oregon, for domestic battery. Both Hernandez and McCarty were transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 3p.m., Oregon Police took a report of a hit and run that had occurred in the Butitta Brothers parking lot, located at 1007 Pines Road, where at some point between 4 p.m. on 1/30/2021 and 3 p.m. on 1/31/2021, an unknown vehicle struck a parked 2002 Honda belonging to Thomas B. Knipple, 29, of Polo, was struck, causing it to be pushed into a parked 1996 GMC belonging to Ethan J. Sward, 31, Dixon. Feb. 1
At 9:55 a.m., Oregon Police issued Kenton D. Comer, 17, Mt. Morris, a citation for illegal squealing/screeching of tires. This violation occurred in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street.
Feb. 3
At 12:30 p.m., Oregon Police issued one female juvenile, 15, of Oregon, a city citation for violating the City of Oregon code 6-85 for tobacco and alternate nicotine product by possessing one vape pen. This violation occurred while at the Oregon High School, 210 S. 10th Street.
At 5:26 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Randi M. Suter, 32, Rochelle, on two outstanding warrants, one for Ogle County for failure to appear, and one for IL Dept of Corrections. Suter was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 11 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Luke J. Kresheck, 27, Oregon, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Kresheck was also issued citations for improper lane usage and speeding, 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. Kresheck was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
