At 5:25 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Jahlen A. Bell, 21, Sterling, for possession of adult use cannabis as a driver, improper container. Bell was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 8:19 p.m., Oregon Police issued John R. Gillett, 25, of Fennville, MI, a citation for speeding, 43mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

At 12:30 p.m., Oregon SRO Officer issued a city citation to one juvenile female, 10, Oregon, for violating Ordinance 6-84, possession of tobacco products and alternative nicotine products. This violation occurred at the Oregon Elementary School, 1150 Jefferson Street

At 5:23 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 200 block of N. 3rd Street, involving a 2019 Jeep belonging to Keiri A. West, 16, Oregon, and a parked 2017 Chrysler belonging to Andrea L. Messenger, age 40, Oregon. No citations were issued.

At 10:17 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Carlos Gonzales, 19, Oregon, for no valid driver’s license. Gonzales was also issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control signal. Gonzales was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 400 block of W. Washington Street.

At 12:28 a.m., Oregon Police issued Esmeralda Diaz, 17, Rockford, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Gale Street.
At 4:25 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a car vs train traffic crash at the intersection of 2nd and Collins Streets involving a 2008 Chrysler driven by Rochelle D. Beaty, 62, Dixon, which had been struck by a BNSF train that was traveling westbound. Beaty was issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign.
