At 7:45 p.m., Oregon Police issued Dionicio Olalde, Jr., 32, Sterling, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Gale Street.
Aug. 26
At 12:40 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Dustin N. Garcia, 29, Oregon, for theft over $500. Garcia was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 6:59 p.m., Oregon Police 6:59 p.m., Oregon Police issued Leroy C. Brooks, 39, Oregon, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Pines Road.
At 10:21 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kaleb M. Law, 30, of Carpentersville, IL, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 500 block of W. Washington Street.
Aug. 27
At 10:26 p.m., Oregon Police issued Alexis R. Cooper, 22, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the 3rd and Washington Street intersection.
Aug. 28
At 7:44 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Kindra J. Williams, 39, Forreston, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Williams was also issued citations for improper left turn, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver. Williams was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred at the intersection if IL Route 64 and Limekiln Rd.
Aug. 29
At 10:15 p.m., Oregon Police issued Lucas D. Pauley, 21, Rockford, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred at the 4th and Washington Streets intersection.
Aug. 31
At 9:27 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a car vs pedestrian traffic crash at the intersection of 5th and Washington Streets involving a 2008 Ford driven by Roger L. Miller, age 60, Mt. Morris, that struck pedestrian Nancy Arbogast, 76, Oregon. Miller was issued a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
At 8:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Robert J. Dorathy, 33, Sterling, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 200 block of N. 4th Street.
Sept. 1
At 7:12 p.m., Oregon Police issued Ashlee L. Parisi, a29, Kings, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 500 block of N. 4th Street.
At 8:03 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of the Shell gas station, 201 S. 4th Street, in the parking lot, resulting in the arrest of Bailey M. Snyder, 21, Franklin Grove, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Snyder was also issued a citation for illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver and issued a civil citation for possession of cannabis less than 10 grams. Snyder was transported to the Ogle County jail.
13 parking citations and 10 verbal/written warnings were issued from 08/26/19 through 09/01/19.
