OREGON — Last week, members of the Oregon Woman's Club presented children's books to the Oregon Public Library in memory of long-time club member Marian DeWall, who passed away last fall. The selection ranged from board books for the youngest readers to those more appropriate for middle school readers. The books were selected by Debbie Herman, the youth librarian. They all reflected Marian's interest in the out of doors and family life.
The books are A Place Called Home by Kate Baker, illustrated by Rebecca Green; Why Not? by Kobi Yamada; Cold by Tim McCann, illustrated by Ramona Kaulitski; and Shadow Fox by Carlie Sorosich.
Members of the DeWall family attended the presentation.
