POLO — Commander Becky Jo Davis of Polo American Legion Patrick Fegan Post #83 recently received a $140 donation from AromasByTam, an independent distributor of Mia Belle Candles, on Feb. 11.
In November, Mia Belle Candles, a family-owned company from Pennsylvania produces a special veteran candle each year. Tammy Merdian, an independent distributor of Mia Belle Candles, made a pledge of $5 from each candle sold to support her local American Legion - Patrick Fegan Post 83, Polo. On Feb. 11, Ms. Meridian attended Post 83’s monthly meeting to present a check of $140 to Davis. The money will be used to place veteran gravemarkers at Fairmont Cemetery, Polo.
Commander Davis expressed her extreme gratitude for the continued support of AromasByTam and look forward to working with her on future endeavors.
