The Stillman Valley High School math team won the Big Northern Conference math competition that was held on May 3 at Sauk Valley College. Students competed in individual as well as team events placing in every event. Over 135 students were at the competition. Other teams competing at the event were: Byron, Genoa Kingston, North Boone, Oregon, Rock Falls and Rockford Lutheran.
