EAST MOLINE — The Byron Tiger Sharks swam in the 2024 Illinois Swimming East Moline Regional earlier this month.
Byron’s 200-yard medley relay teams tied for second place: Audrey Kilmer, Natalie Kilmer, Madelyn Capellan, Lucy Gura and Abby Krueger, Ainsley Hale, Ady Basler-Heather, Ryan Smith. Lucy Gura finished fifth in the 100-yard butterfly. Madelyn Capellan took second and Lucy Gura took sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Abby Krueger placed third in the 100-yard backstroke. Byron’s 200-yard freestyle relay team took second: Abby Krueger, Ady Basler-Heather, Natalie Kilmer and Lucy Gura. Ryan Smith placed third in the 200-yard butterfly and Ainsley Hale placed third in the 200-yard breaststroke. Madelyn Capellan finished first and Lucy Gura finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke.
