ROCKFORD — The Byron High School varsity girls swimming and diving team placed first at the Hononegah Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Among the top finishers were freshmen Lucy Gura (second place), Madelyn Capellan (third place), Nora Schneiker (fourth place) and Mikayla Ford (sixth place) as well as sophomores Abby Krueger (third place) and Ryan Smith (fourth place), junior Ady Basler-Heather (sixth place) and senior Bailey Vincer (third place).
