EAST PEORIA — Oregon Junior High sent three athletes to the IESA State Championship at East Peoria High School from May 23-24.
Sixth-grader Kollins Anaya medaled for the Junior Hawks, finishing eighth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:40.32. Eighth-grader Anya Anaya took 12th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:35.46 and seventh-grader Brady Wills took ninth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.75 seconds.
