OREGON — Wayne Wendell Canfield Jr. passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 70.
He was born to Wayne and Bernadine Canfield on April 6, 1954 in Dixon, Illinois, and grew up in Oregon, Illinois. After graduating from high school, Wayne became an iron worker until his retirement. After retirement, he along with his life partner, Marty Nelson, fulfilled their life dream of living in the mountains and moved to Boulder, Montana where they spent many wonderful years together. Wayne also enjoyed spending time with Marty’s children, Jeremy and Jessica.
Wayne is survived by his two sisters; Beverly Johnson of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and her two children Craig and Corey Johnson, and Judith Banks of St. Petersburg, Florida, and her two children Leann Corey and Stuart Sanderson.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
