METAMORA — The Byron High School varsity wrestling team took second out of 14 schools at the 2024 Metamora Holiday Classic on Saturday, Dec. 21. Placewinners for the Tigers included champions Jack Norris (120), Will Julian (157) and Jared Claunch (285) as well as runner-up finishers Brody Stien (165) and Jarett Ross (215). Additional medalists included Hunter King (4th - 132), Dylan Dach (4th - 138) and Issac Alvarez (4th - 175).
