STILLMAN VALLEY – Beverley J. Eickman, 90, of Stillman Valley passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021 at Generations Neighbors, Byron. Beverley lived her entire adult life in Monroe Center and Stillman Valley. 

She married Kenneth Fischer on June 26, 1948 and they farmed in Monroe Center for 20 years. They moved to Stillman Valley in 1970 and Ken passed away in 1974 at the young age of 49. Beverley married William Eickman in 1978 and they continued living in her home until Bill passed in 2003. Beverley was fiercely independent and loved her family, friends and dogs. She was very proud to have beaten polio and meeting Sister Kenny, an Australian bush nurse, whose treatments helped her walk again. 

Beverley is survived by her son Wayne (Terri) Fischer of Eau Claire Wis., and daughter Jan Hering of Fort Myers Fla.; her grandchildren Christa (Ben), Kelli (Brock) and Collin (Laura); her great grandchildren Lauren and Kale; and brother Warren (Rose). She is further survived by her wonderful brother in-law, sisters in-law, nieces and nephews...also a special friend, Marie. 

Predeceased by both husbands and brother Don Maurer. 

Per Beverley's wishes, there will be no funeral. Beverley gratefully donated her body the advancement of medicine.
