OREGON – Dennis L. Merrell, age 61, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford following a long illness. He was born Sept. 17, 1958 at the Great Lakes Hospital the son of LaVerne and Norma (Stanton) Merrell.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Dennis married Katheryn Williams on Oct. 18, 1985 in Waukegan.
Dennis and Kathy moved to Oregon in April of 2000.
He was a member of the East Oregon Church of God.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Kathy of Oregon, son Jacob Merrell of Oregon, brother Steve (Danell) Merrell of Polo, 2 sisters; Patty (Del) Robertson of Wauconda, and Dale Merrell of North Carolina.
