OREGON – Marjorie M. Holtapp, age 93, died Aug. 21, 2018 in Oregon Living & Rehab Center, Oregon. Marjorie was born March 26, 1925 in Oregon, the daughter of Rudolf and Jacoba (Oltmanns) Mammen.
She married Glendon E. Holtapp on Sept. 25, 1943 in Oregon, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2000. Marjorie was a homemaker and she worked for Kable News. She lived in the Oregon area for 93 years. Marjorie was a member of the Ebenezer Reformed Church, Oregon.
Marjorie is survived by her son: Glendon Holtapp, Mount Morris; two granddaughters: Haley Holtapp and Hiedi (Tim) VandeSand, both of Mount Morris; four great grandsons: Stephen Holtapp, Zander, Zayden, and Zyah VandeSand all of Mount Morris; sister: Dorothy Ulferts, Mount Morris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Glendon; great grandson: Jaytn VandeSand; three brothers: Rudolf Jr., Melvin, and Henry; three sisters: Henrietta, Anna, and Jennie.
Graveside Services will be in Ebenezer Reformed Cemetery, Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marv Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Reformed Cemetery, Oregon. Cremation rites have been accorded.
