Byron Police arrested Nicole Lind, 50 of Byron, on an Ogle County warrant. Lind was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Feb. 26

Mario Mendoza, 18 of Beloit, Wis., was issued citations for No Proof of Insurance, Speeding 46 mph in a 30 mph Zone, and Driving While License is Suspended.

Feb. 27

Veronica Brown, 51 of Rockford, was issued citations for Driving While License is Suspended and No Proof of Insurance.

Feb. 28

Byron Police arrested David Saldecki, 59 of Byron, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While License is Revoked. Saldecki was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

March 1

Byron Police arrested Adam Jordan, 37 of Byron, for Domestic Battery. Jordan was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held without bond.

March 3

Byron Police arrested Christian Bryant, 24 of Iowa City, Iowa, on a Rockford warrant. Bryant was released on a recognizance bond. Bryant was also issued a citation for Speeding, 48 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

March 6

Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred at the intersection of W. Blackhawk and Washington. Involved were Carla Trommer, 71 of Byron, and Lorenza Thompson, 60 of Rockford. Trommer was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid and Accident.

March 11

Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred in the 700 block of W. Blackhawk.  Involved were Anjelica Brockman, 26 of Mt. Morris, and Mark Vironda Jr., 29 of Oregon.  Brockman was issued citations for No Proof of Insurance and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

March 16

Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred in the 600 block of E. Blackhawk.  Involved were Jessica Smith, 36 of Byron, and Francisco Miramontes, 59 of Evansville, Wis. Smith was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
