BYRON — The Byron Women’s Club members wore blue to their recent meeting to support Prevent Child Abuse Month.  Members were also given a blue pinwheel to display at their homes.

The speaker for the meeting was Donna Langford from the Beloit Historical Society.  She spoke about the history and influence of the Women’s Club on society.  She also spoke specifically about the Beloit and Byron Clubs.  The Byron Women’s Club was organized in 1909.

Byron Women’s Club members meet monthly September through May for lunch and a program. The last luncheon meeting of the 2023-2024 Byron Women’s Club year will be held at noon on May 21.  Kelly JOY Epperson will be speaking about Joyful Peaceful Living.
