Crowd turns out for Cardinal Christmas

STILLMAN VALLEY – Stillman Valley held its annual Cardinal Christmas on Dec. 5 from 4-7 p.m. 

Santa arrived by Fire Truck at 4 p.m. Elsa, Anna and Spiderman were at the Jr High craft show. A live nativity and Carolers were at the Red Brick Center.

Trees were decorated at Stillman Bank. Winners are as follows: Creativity/Originality – Julia Hull Library; Best Use of Theme – Ogle Jolly 4-H Club; Overall Appearance – The Red Church. 

Food Trucks were on site along with pork chops and hot dogs grilled by The Wooden Nickel. The Lions club provided hot cocoa and cookies. Santa was at Ladders of Learning with photos taken by Holcomb Bank. There were games provided by Stillman FFA. You could get a reindeer bun or tinsel at Tease. Maas Legal held an open house with a bake sale by the Environmental Club. 

Other area businesses were open and there was a drawing for a $50 VISA card if you visited each of the spots on your punch card. The winner was Kristi Gile.
