OREGON – The coming of February means it’s again time for the First Fridays Open Mic at K’s Sports Bar in Oregon.
The monthly musical event attracts many talented performers, but the coffee-style atmosphere is warm and accepting for musicians and singers of all skill levels. Each performer is allowed 15 minutes. Everyone can also join in on a jam session at the end of the show if they wish to.
The next show will be on Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. Admission is free, although a jar is available for donations. Sign-up for performers is at 6:45 p.m.
