Hunt Easter eggs in the pool

Posted

OREGON – Are you looking for a new type of egg hunt this year? On April 5th come to the Oregon Park District for an egg hunt in the pool at the Nash Recreation Center.

We will offer two different release times and will have Open Swim immediately following both hunts. Participants are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of their hunt time. This will allow ample time to properly assign wristbands for the appropriate hunt. For the safety of the swimmers, bags will not be permitted in the water. All participants should bring a basket or bucket.

6:45 p.m. Hunt: Non-swimmers are invited to participate in the 6:45 pm hunt. Participants can wear a lifejacket if they wish, but must have a parent or guardian (over 13 years old) in the water with them.

7 p.m. Hunt: Independent swimmers are invited to participate in the 7 pm hunt. Participants must be at least 5 years of age and be able to swim independently without a lifejacket. This is free to members and just a daily fee for everyone else!  Residents rates: $2 for students and $3 for adults. Non-Resident Rates: $3 for students and $4 for adults.

Mark your calendar for our next first Friday on May 3. We will have an Ice Cream Sundae Bar.
