Dear editor,
As the 2024 election looms, campaign rhetoric is reaching a fever pitch. One particular campaign slogan that cuts through the cacophony and resonates with me simply asks the question: Have you had enough?
Have you had enough of paying higher and higher prices and being told that inflation is only transitory?
Have you had enough of a wide-open border letting in 10s of thousands of unvetted immigrants who enter illegally then demand taxpayer help? Have you had enough crime? Are you tired of a biased media that act as a propaganda mouthpiece for their chosen party? Have you had enough censorship from social media that does not allow you to state an opinion that does not align with their values? Have you had enough big government over-reach? (Do you remember during COVID-19 when the government closed schools, churches and businesses and, in some states, did not allow you even to buy garden seeds?) Are you tired of the racism that seeks to divide us against ourselves? Have you had enough of all the "experts" who tout such nonsense as a man can become pregnant? Are you sickened by biological men dominating women's sports?
Have you had enough of our country funding constant wars all over the world with our tax dollars? Are you afraid of our ballooning national debt and the effect it will have on future generations? Have you had enough of all the lies and distortions?
Well, I sure have. That's why I am basing my vote not upon emotions but upon solid policies. Policies that put America first. Policies that will propel this country into a solid future where our kids and grandkids can realize the American dream. That's how I am basing my vote,
