Letter: Thanks for support for Easter Seals Autism School

Posted

Dear editor,

Thank you to the businesses in the Forrestville Valley area who over the years have contributed to the Easter Seals Autism School. I hope you will continue to help in the years to come. April was Autism Awareness Month and I'm sure donations were solicited.

I would like to extend a special thank you to Anderson Trucking, Danlee Wood Products, Josh's Saloon, Forreston Mutual, Schoaf's Chiropractic, and Forreston Tool who tirelessly gave each year for the entire length of my son's tenure there. I would also like to thank those businesses who maybe could not give every year but graciously gave when they could. Sweetwood Furniture Store, Koeller's Hardware Store, Forreston State Bank, German Valley Bank, Smokin Gun Worx Store, R&S Hardware Store, Fibbers, The Depot, Farmers Restaurant, Julie Heeren, Shorty's Slots, Country Companies, Green's Car Sales, Forreston Car Care, Forreston Auto Body, GFW, German Valley Bar, Ridott Corners Bar, Fibbers, Hank's Repair, Forreston Veterinary Service, Forreston Floral, Mimmo's, First & Main Gift Store, and HGB Industries. Also former businesses of Jack's, Robert Sandell Agency, and Grunewald Chiropractic.

Also like to thank the staff of Forreston Dental who contributed to the cause with a monetary donation, but have been also immensely helpful in getting dental care for my autistic son. They went above and beyond when he was in crisis with painful dental issues that required three emergency visits before we could finally locate someone to treat him. Amanda Boettner was always willing to lend an ear and do the utmost to help.

Also a thank you to all those who contributed by donating to the jars, events and raffles to support the Easter Seals Autism school

Please keep them in mind for all the future kids who will need their help.

-Jayne and Max Howald, Forrreston
