Nov. 27

The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

* Heather L Heathcott, 39 of Mt. Morris for Failure to Appear with a $1,200 Full Cash Bond. Heathcott was released on a Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on 11-30-18 at 9 a.m.

* Robin A Weatherall, 30 of Rockford for Failure to Appear with a $1,243 Full Cash Bond. Weatherall was released on a Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on 12-05-18 at 9 a.m.

Nov. 25

At 12:56 a.m. Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 near Creston Rd for a headlight violation. During the course of the traffic stop it was learned that the driver, Ignacio Gonzalez Cantu, 36, of Mounds View, MN was driving on a revoked license. He was subsequently arrested for Driving While License Revoked and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he remained in lieu of bond.

Nov. 24

At 10:53 p.m., Deputies along with Byron Police and Fire responded to the 9000 block of North Twin Oaks drive for one vehicle accident. It was learned that Stanton Lewis, 23 of Byron was North bound when he lost control of his motorcycle and came to rest in the center of the roadway. Lewis was transported to a Rockford hospital for minor injuries. Lewis was charged with DUI and released on an I-Bond. He will appear in court on 12/20/19 at 9 a.m. The crash remains under investigation.

At 8:08 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Illinois Rte 2 deputies arrested Gary Barney, 53 of Leaf River for Felony Driving While License Revoked, and Driving While License Revoked.  Barney also received citations for no insurance, one head lamp, loud muffler, poss of cannabis and drug equipment.  Barney was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 23

At 5:19 p.m. deputies made a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Illinois Rte 2 and arrested Charles Williams, 50, of Franklin Grove for driving while license suspended. Williams also recieved citations for improper use of registration, no seat belt, and no insurance. Williams was held at the Ogle Co Jail in lieu of bond.

Nov. 22

At approximately 11:23 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 10,000 block of North Illinois Route 26.  After investigation Deputies placed Joseph Lewis, 44 of Beloit, Wis., under arrest for a Lee County Contempt of Court Warrant and Driving While License Suspended. Lewis was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond

At 2 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies, along with the Lynn-Scott-Rock Ambulance, responded to 113 Autumnwood Lane in Davis Junction for a report of two males fighting in the front yard. Upon investigation Deputies learned that the homeowner had called 911 to report that there were two males fighting in her yard and she did not know who they were. Deputies then identified the males as Andres M. Varga, 58 of North Aurora, and William J Werrline IV, 45 of North Aurora. The investigation determined that Varga and Werrline had gotten into a fight near by the residence while driving in the area and were walking through the resident's yard creating a disturbance when 911 was called. Deputies determined that Werrline had bitten Varga in the facial area several times while they were fighting. Varga was transported to Swedish American Hospital by the Ambulance for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident. Werrline was subsequently arrested for Battery and was taken into custody without incident. Werrline was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 21

The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

* Ernest D Elswick, 51 of Oregon for Probation Violation. Elswick posted the $15,000 10 percent bond and will appear in court on 12-19-18 at 9 a.m.

* Patrick J Beavers, 26 of Rochelle for Violation of Bond. Beavers was released after time served.

Nov. 19

Daniel Moreno, 27 of Rockford was arrested on an Outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear.  Moreno did not post the $787 Full Cash Bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Moreno will appear in court on 11-20-18 at 1 p.m.

Kaleb Harrolle, 19, of Freeport was arrested for Probation Violation and Failure to Appear. Harrolle had a bond of $3,000/10 percent and $1072. Harrolle was given a $1,000 bond recog for both charges. Harrolle was released from the Ogle County Jail, and will return on 12/10/18 at 10:45 a.m. for court.

Nov. 18

Nicholas Pillion, 18 of Rochelle was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Consumption of Liquor as a Minor. Pillion did not post the $5,000 10 percent bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Pillion will appear in court on 11-19-18 at 1 p.m.

Nov. 17

Ogle County Deputies responded to the 10128 block of East Illinois Route 72 for a vehicle in the ditch. After an investigation Tiffany R Fabish, 33 from Davis Junction was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Fabish was also cited for Improper Lane Usage, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Fabish was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.  

At approximately 5:47 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies, Oregon EMS, and Mount Morris EMS responded to a one vehicle accident with an injury. After investigation Deputies learned Andy Mcclearin, 44 of Rock Falls was traveling northbound in the 1,000 block of North Daysville Rd in his Ford Focus. Mcclearin was driving around a curve when he lost control on the snow -covered road and traveled off the east side of the roadway before striking a tree head on. Mcclearin was transported to KSB Hospital by Mount Morris EMS for minor injuries.

Nov. 16

At 8:15 p.m., Deputies responded to a hit and run on Gristmill Road east of Chana Road in rural Chana. While canvassing the area Deputies located the offending vehicle. After a short investigation, Trei Sanders, 24 of Freeport was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While License Suspended.  Sanders was also cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Sanders was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.  

The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants

* James T Spain, 32 of Stillman Valley for Driving While License Suspended/Revoked.  Spain posted the $3,000 10 percent bond and was released with a 12-07-18 court date.

* San Mateo Trejo Jr, age 24 of Chicago for Failure to Appear ($864 Full Cash) and Petition to Revoke ($3,000 10 percent). Trejo remains in the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court on 11-19-18 at 1 p.m.

Nov. 15

At approximately 1:41 a.m. Deputies responded to 504 S. Valley View Drive Apt. # 3 in reference to a physical domestic. After investigation Deputies placed Michael Pierce, 32 of Stillman Valley under arrest for Domestic Battery.  Pierce was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance in front of a judge.   

At approximately 1:04 p.m., Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Illinois Rt 38 near the intersection of Woodlawn Rd. An eastbound car being driven by Brianna Baker, 19 of Rochelle was unable to maintain control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. Baker's vehicle struck the rear of a semi tractor-trailer being driven by Jose Contreras-Barrera, 31 of Mexico. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. The accident remains under investigation.

The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

* Tina Cupp, 50, of Rochelle was arrested for Failure To Appear. Cupp had a bond of $1457.57 full cash. Cupp could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Cupp will return to court on 11/16/18 at 1 p.m.

* Ethan Eklund, 21, of Oregon was arrested for Failure To Appear. Eklund had a bond of $1,795.00 full cash. Eklund could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Eklund will return to court on 11/16/18 at 1 p.m.

* Gregory Stone, 39, of Rockford was arrested for Failure To Appear. Stone had a bond of $1921 full cash. Stone could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Stone will return to court on 11/16/18 at 1 p.m.

* Jonathan Early, 25, of Rockford was arrested for Failure To Appear and Credit Card Fraud. Early had a bond of $10,000.00/10 percent and $1,000.00 full cash. Early could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Early will return to court on 11/26/18 at 1:00 pm.

* Myron Simmons, 45, of Normal was arrested for Failure To Appear. Simmons had a bond of $994.00 full cash. Simmons could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Simmons will return to court on 11/16/18 at 1 p.m.

At approximately 9 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 8000 block of IL Rte 251. Upon further investigation, Jonna Blatchford was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and No Valid Driver's License. Blatchford was also cited for speeding. Blatchford was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 14

Matthew Leather, 29, of Oregon was arrested for Failure to Appear warrant. Leather had a bond of $1,153, Leather was given a bond after court for $125. Leather posted the $125 bond and was relased from the Ogle County Jail. Leather will return to court on 11/26/18 at 9 a.m.

Nov. 13

At approximately 2:23 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Dixon and Union Streets in Polo. After an investigation, William D. Murray, 61, of Polo, was arrested for Driving While Licensed Suspended and Obstructing Identification. Murray was additionally cited for Operating Uninsured Vehicle.
