The Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Jazmin Johnson, 23 of Rockford for Driving While License Suspended. Johnson was arrested by Deputes at Rt. 72 and Kishwaukee Rd after being stopped for disobeying a stop sign. Johnson was held in lieu of bond at the jail.

The Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Tiana Dodson, 30 of Rochelle for Driving Under the Influence. Dodson was arrested by deputies after she drove her vehicle off the road near the intersection of Hemstock Road and Queens Road. Dodson was held in lieu of bond at the jail.

May 20

At approximately 9 a.m. Derrick Stone, 28, of Grand Detour was located and arrested for Domestic Battery. Stone was confined at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a court appearance. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Dixon Police Department and the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted Deputies.  Investigation is still ongoing. 

May 19

At approximately 9:19 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Grand Detour area of rural Dixon for the report of an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, it was learned that a gray Chevy Impala had fled the scene after striking a parked car and a female pedestrian. The female pedestrian, Brittany Vyas, 24, of Rock Falls, received minor injuries and was transported to KSB Hospital by Dixon Rural Ambulance. Deputies later located the driver of the Chevy, Kaitlyn Dexter, 23, of Dixon. Dexter was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident (Class 4 Felony), Aggravated Battery (Class 3 Felony), and Reckless Driving (Class A Misdemeanor). Dexter was confined at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a court appearance. Upon release from KSB Hospital, Vyas was charged with Battery to Dexter for an incident that occurred prior to the accident. Vyas was confined at the Ogle County Jail pending bond. 

At 11:39 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the entrance of Rolling Meadows trailer park.  After an investigation, Marissa Montero, 28, of Wisconsin was arrested for Driving While License Suspended.  Montero was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

May 18

At 5:45 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop at 901 W. Washington St. After a short investigation, Deputies arrested Tabatha Clarkson, 26, for No Valid Driver's Licenses. Clarkson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released to Correctional Officers in lieu of bond.

At 2:06 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a physical Domestic at an address on Sunflower Ln. Rochelle. After an investigation, Jonathan Hoskins, 27, from Rochelle was arrested for Domestic Battery. Hoskins was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

At 1:42 a.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop at the 7000 block of S IL RT 26. After a short investigation, Dylan Janssen, 19, was placed under arrest for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Janssen was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to jail staff in lieu of bond.

May 17

At 9 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 9000 block N. IL. Rte. 2 on a Tan Mercury Milan for no rear registration light. After making contact with the driver Jose Juan Nivarro, 48 of Rockford, Deputies determined Jose Juan Nivarro to not have a valid driver’s license. Jose Juan Nivarro was issued citations for No Valid Drivers License, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and No rear registration light. Jose Juan Nivarro was then taken into custody and transported to the Ogle County Sheriff's Department where he was held in lieu of bond.    

May 16

At 9:19 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a tan Chevrolet Silverado truck on Stubb RD. at Tower road for speeding. After further investigation the driver of the vehicle Justin G. Mattson, 22, of Belvidere was arrested for Speeding and Driving While License Revoked. Mattson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he posted bond and was given a June court date.

May 15

At approximately 3:48 a.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Illinois St and Fifth St in Oregon. After further investigation Alisza Cremeans, 19 of Oregon, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Cremeans was also issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Failure to Signal. Cremeans was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

May 14

At 4:09 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies along with Mt. Morris PD were dispatched to an address on N. Everett St. near Mt. Morris for a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, Trei Sanders, 24 of Freeport, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Sanders was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 10:13 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident with an injury in the 5,000 block of East IL Route 64, After arriving on scene, Deputies learned a 2004 Chevy SUV driven by Pamela Beecham, 54 of Mt Morris was traveling eastbound in the 5,000 block of East IL Route 64. Beecham then traveled across the westbound lane and into the north side ditch before striking a tree. Beecham was transported to Swedish American Hospital by Oregon EMS for minor injuries. Beecham was later issued citations for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Improper Lane Usage, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  The accident remains under investigation.

The following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Thomas Price, 33 of Rochelle, for Failure to Appear. Price has a full cash bond of $5,106.34 and will appear in court on 05/15/19 at 1 p.m.

Joel Dach, 32 of Rockford, for Contempt of Court. Dach has a full cash bond of $1,008 and will appear in court on 06/24/19 at 9 a.m.

Dewayne Harbach, 67 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Harbach appeared in court and was issued a $1,000 recognizance bond and was released with a court date of 05/20/19 at 1 p.m.

Dominic Mireles, 36 of Rochelle, for Failure to Appear. Mireles has a full cash bond of $883 and will appear in court on 05/17/19 at 9 a.m.

May 13

At approximately 8:34 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 10,000 block of North Illinois Route 2 for a crash involving an injury.  Upon arrival, Deputies learned Kaitlyn Lawson, 20 of Dixon was traveling northbound in the 10,000 block of North Illinois Route 2.  Lawson was driving a 2014 Toyota Corrolla, which traveled off of the east side of the roadway while negotiating a curve before striking a culvert. Lawson's vehicle then crossed back over both lanes before coming to rest in the west side of the ditch. Lawson was transported to Swedish American Hospital by Byron EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Lawson was later issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

Gregory Knuuttila, 40 of Cortland, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Improper Use of Registration. Knuuttila has a bond of $15,000/10 percent and will appear in court on 05/14/19 at 1 p.m.

May 9

At 9:50 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a blue Toyota Scion on 6th St and Jefferson St in Oregon.  After a further investigation the driver Nathan D. Stinnett, 36 of Franklin Grove, was arrested for Driving without a License, Expired Registration, and No Insurance.  Stinnett was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he posted bond and was given a June court date.

At 6:40 p.m. following a traffic stop for Speeding on I-88 mile marker 76 eastbound, Deputies arrested Tajhenae Adams, 22 of Elgin, for Driving While License Suspended and Obstruction of Identification. Adams was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted by AC Towing of Rochelle.

The following people were arrested on Ogle County outstanding warrants.

Rickey Graff ,50, of Freeport for Theft Control Intent $500 <10K. Graff had a bond of $50,000 / 10% and he will go to court on 05/10/19 at 1:00pm. Graff remains in the Ogle County Jail.

Jamie Ross, 34, of Ashton for Failure to Appear.  Ross had a bond of $514.96, and Ross was able to post the bond of $514.96. Ross was released from the Ogle County Jail and will not have to return for court.

Virginia Sensor, 38, of Oregon for Driving While License Suspended. Sensor had a bond of $3,000/10 percent. Sensor recieved a recog for $3,000 and was released from the Ogle County Jail.

May 8

At approximately 11:40 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a single vehicle roll over in the 8000 block of E. Flagg Road. After investigation the driver of the vehicle was identified as Daniel Lee, 77 of Dixon. Lee was traveling west bound in a red Jeep when he left the right side of the roadway. Lee was then transported by Ashton ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Lee was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

The following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

James Morrison, 57 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Morrison has a full cash bond of $6,447 and will appear in court on 05/10/19 at 9 a.m.

Declan Blumenthal, 20 of Byron, for Violation of a Stalking No Contact Order. Blumenthal posted the $3,000/10% and was released with a return court date of 05/31/19 at 9 a.m.
