June 28
At approximately 10:21 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5400 block of N IL Rte 2. After investigation, Deputies arrested Mark A. Alexander, 44 of Rockford, for No Valid Driver’s License and an active Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear on a traffic offense. Alexander was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Alexander was also cited for Window Tint and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
June 27
At 9:12 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I88 at mile marker 77 on a 2010 Ford for speeding 97 mph in a 70 mph zone. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Guillermo Rodriguez-Gonzalez 39 of Chicago for driving while license suspended. Guillermo also received citations for speeding, no insurance, unlawful transportation of alcohol, and no front registration. Guillermo was transported to the Ogle Co. Jail and held in lieu of bond.
June 25
At 7:49 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop at route 251 and Carrie Avenue. After an investigation, Deputies arrested Regino Mercade, 21 of Genoa for driving while suspended and for an outstanding warrant out of Dekalb County. Mercade was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.
At approximately 7:44 p.m. Deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Flagg Rd and Skare Rd. After further investigation Devin McDaniel, 42 of Rochelle, was placed under arrest for No Valid Drivers License. McDaniel was released on an Individual Bond and will appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.
At 8:27 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Meridian Rd. Chana, IL for a report of a disturbance. After further investigation, Deputies placed Mason J. Wolter, 21, of Chana, IL under arrest for domestic battery, and criminal damage to property. Wolter was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where he is being held pending a court appearance in front of a judge.
June 18
At 12:15 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on IL Rt.251 at IL Rt. 72 in Davis Junction for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Carlos De Los Reyes, 22 of Rochelle was arrested for no valid driver’s license, and improper cannabis container-driver. De Los Reyes was also issued citations for no registration light, and operating uninsured motor vehicle. De Los Reyes was released on a signature I-bond with a return court date.
The Ogle County Sheriff's Office arrested Nikolas Adolphson, 19 of Rockford for driving while license suspended. Adolphson was arrested by deputies on Hwy 251 near Davis Junction after being stopped for speeding. Adolphson was held in lieu of bond at the Jail.
June 10
At 10:28 p.m. the Ogle County Sheriff's Office and Oregon Ambulance were dispatched to an injury traffic crash on Rte. 2 just south of the Oregon city limits. Investigation by deputies revealed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Nickolas Langley, 32 of Rock Falls. was traveling north on Rte. 2 when he struck a deer. Langley was transported by Oregon Ambulance to KSB Hospital in Dixon for treatment of what appeared to be non life threatening injuries. Oregon Police Dept. assisted at the scene.
