July 30
At 11:50 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 19000 block of E IL Route 64. Upon completing an investigation, Brandy Chester, 40 of Rockford, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Chester was also cited for Speeding and transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
July 29
At 7:15 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 10000 block of IL Rte 72, for a License/Registartion violation. After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Samuel J. Rhea , 41, of Leaf River for Driving while License Suspended. Samuel was then transported to the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond.
July 28
At approximately 11:59 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 8000 block of North Illinois Rte 2. After further investigation, Damaria Franklin, 20 of Skokie, was placed under arrest for No Valid Driver's License. Franklin was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
At approximately 1:40 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 10000 block of North Baileyville Rd. After further investigation Roger Colin, 33 of Freeport, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Colin was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
July 27
At 1:54 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 900 block of North River Rd. for the report of a possible crash. After an investigation, it was determined that Laura Pelayo, 20 of Rockford, had driven her vehicle off of the roadway and crashed into the west ditch. Pelayo was arrested for Zero Tolerance and Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol. Pelayo was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
At 4:49 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 7000 block of E. Flagg Road for a vehicle in the ditch. After an investigation, Deputies arrested Matthew Stevens, 21 of Oregon, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Improper Lane Usage. Stevens was taken to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.
At approximately 6:59 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North Freeport Rd. After further investigation Jason Anders, 46 of Rochelle, was placed under arrest for Possession of Medical Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Anders was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
July 26
Andrew Schopp, 25 of Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for 2 counts of Aggravated Battery. Schopp posted the $25,000/10% bond and was released with a return court date of 08/16/19 at 9 a.m.
July 17
At 7:53 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-88 at mile marker 76 for an Equipment Violation. After an investigation Marcus T. Heald, 31 of Davenport, Iowa, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Heald was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
