Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: March 23-25, 2024

OREGON — On March 23 at 6:23 p.m. deputies, with the assistance of the Oregon Police Department, conducted a traffic stop at Hill Street and Illinois Route 2. After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Joseph Mikeworth, 47, of Mendon, Illinois, for driving without a valid license. Mikeworth was released with a notice to appear. Mikeworth was additionally issued a citation for suspended registration.

On March 23 at 4:02 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at West Mud Creek Road and North Indian Heights Drive. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Terry Wallace, 74, of Mt. Morris, for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Wallace was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was processed and released with a return court date.

On March 23 at approximately 10:23 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on West Illinois Route 72 near Adeline Road. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested William W. Clark, 44, Rochelle, for no driver’s license. Lindsay A. Horton, 39, Dixon, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant. Joel M. Moore, 36, Nelson, was arrested for an outstanding Whiteside County warrant. Moore was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine less than five grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Clark was released with a notice to appear. Moore and Horton were both transported to the Ogle County Jail.

On March 25 at approximately 10:08 a.m. Tristen A. Halverson, 25, of Rockford turned himself into the Ogle County Jail on an outstanding failure to appear Ogle County warrant. Halverson posted bond and was released with no return court date.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
