At 3:29 p.m., Oregon Police issued Peggy L. Anderson, 46, Rockford, citations for failure to wear a seat belt as a driver and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 300 block of N. 6th Street.
At 7:56 p.m., Oregon Police issued citations to Ashley K. McCann, 24, Dixon, for speeding, 42mph in a 30mph zone and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
At 10:48 p.m., Oregon Police issued Patricia L. Sullivan, 46, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 7th Street.

At 10:48 a.m., Oregon Police issued Jacob O.H. Jordan, 22, Oregon, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 9th Street.
At 2:16 p.m., Oregon Police issued Allysa M. Eller, 26, Stillman Valley, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of Jefferson and 10th Streets.
At 3:04 p.m., Oregon Police issued Riley J. Birnbaum, 17, Oregon, a citation for operating a vehicle with a loud muffler. This violation occurred at the intersection of Adams and 10th Streets.

At 1:02 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Dustin N. Garcia, 29, Oregon, on an outstanding family court/child support warrant through Ogle County. Garcia was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 9:54 p.m., Oregon Police issued Samantha E. Leather, 16, Mt. Morris, a citation for violating the graduated driver’s license parameters of having too many passengers in the vehicle. This violation occurred at the intersection of 4th and Franklin Streets.
At 4:50 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a 3-car traffic crash on the Washington Street bridge involving a 2011 Cadillac driven by Harold W. Nance, 94, Oregon, that struck a 2005 Chevrolet driven by David B. Berg, 45, Oregon, which then struck a 2006 Ford driven by Mary T. Janulis, 52, of Oak Lawn, IL. No citations were issued.

At 3:49 p.m., Oregon Police issued Michael R. Stonecipher, 37, Davis Junction, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred at the intersection of 10th and Jefferson Streets.
Oct. 6
At 2:57 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a 2-car traffic crash at the intersection of N. 3rd and Monroe Streets where a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Artur T. Pyszniak, 47, of Streamwood, IL, struck a 2019 GMC driven by David A. Turner, 71, of Winnebago, IL. Pyszniak was issued a citation for improper overtaking.

At 10:19 a.m., Oregon Police took one 15-year-old male juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for the offense of distribution of harmful material. The juvenile was released into a parent’s custody with diversion services requested and referral for juvenile delinquency being sent to the State’s Attorney’s Office.
At 5:33 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a 2-car traffic crash in the 200 block of N. 4th Street where a 2015 Jeep driven by Jackson J. Werren, 15, Oregon, struck a parked 2014 Subaru belonging to Christopher J. Blevins, 52, Oregon. No citations were issued.

At 7:46 a.m., Oregon Police responded to the 300 block of S. 2nd Street for a report of a hit and run traffic crash that occurred at some point the prior evening involving a parked 2018 Dodge belonging to Riley S. Comins, 33, Oregon, and a parked 2013 Ford belonging to Roger L. Comins, age 41, Oregon. Following a thorough investigation, Alexander J. Garcia, 27, Oregon, was issued a citation for failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle.

At 3:03 p.m., Oregon Police took one 15-year-old male juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for criminal damage to school property. The juvenile was released into a guardian’s custody with referral for juvenile delinquency being sent to the State’s Attorney’s Office.
At 7:10 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Joseph D. Caldwell, II, 27, Dixon, for violation of orders of protection. Caldwell was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 5:10 p.m., Oregon Police issued Dawn M. Epperson, 52, Rockford, a citation for speeding, 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
Oct. 12
At 12:21 a.m., Oregon Police issued Byran D. Buss, 18, Rockford, citations for speeding, 50 mph in a 30 mph zone, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 500 block of N. 4th Street.
At 10:23 a.m., Oregon Police issued Elizabeth A. Gray, 34, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets.
At 2:12 p.m., Oregon Police took one 13-year-old female juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for the offenses of being a runaway and resisting/obstructing an officer. The juvenile was transported to the Ogle County jail chapel area until transportation to the Nachusa Lutheran Home of LSSI, in Nachusa, IL, could be obtained.
At 6:19 p.m., Oregon Police issued Robert J. Leddy, Jr., 70, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets.
At 11:54 p.m., Oregon Police issued Lorie A. Mallek, 32, Freeport, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 700 block of E. Washington Street.
Oct. 13
At 12:30 a.m., Oregon Police issued Jory S. Revels, 30, Rockford, civil citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 10 grams. These citations were issued in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 9:21 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Alexis C. Castillo, 9, Oregon, for driving while license suspended. Castillo was also issued a citation for unlawful window tint; and civil citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 10 grams.
