At 10:23 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Andrew N. Bjorkman, 34, of Mundelein, IN, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for criminal damage to property. Bjorkman was transported to the Ogle County jail.

 

Nov. 2

At 7:45 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street involving a 2003 Toyota driven by Cayden R. Lewis, 16, Mt. Morris and a 2008 Pontiac driven by Anaya J. Hitchcock, 16, Oregon. No citations were issued.

At 2:00 p.m., Oregon Police issued one 14-year-old male juvenile of Mt. Morris a city citation for possessing tobacco products and/or alternative nicotine products. This violation occurred in the Oregon High School.

At 10:07 p.m., Oregon Police issued Addyson K. Swisher, 16, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 400 block of W. Washington Street.

Nov. 3

At 2:29 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Oregon Trail Road and IL Route 64 involving a 2018 Dodge driven by Michael P. Smidt, 32, Oregon, and a 2014 Ford driven by Owen T. James, 19, Oregon. Smidt was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

Nov. 6

At 12:10 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Allison S. Toal, 37, Byron, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Toal was also issued a citation for driving without lights. Toal was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of E. Washington Street.

At 9:06 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 700 block of S. 3rd Street resulting in the arrest of Robert D. VanDyke, 40, Oregon, for violation of orders of protection. VanDyke was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Nov. 7

At 6:34 p.m., Oregon Police issued Hannah R. Sheridan, 19, Sterling, citations for speeding, and possession of an improper cannabis container. These violations occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

Nov. 9

At 5:27 a.m., Oregon Police issued Yezamin A. Bugarin Delgado, 20, Rockford, a citation for speeding, 50mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred near the intersection of North 4th and Fair Streets.

At 7 p.m., Oregon Police issued Randall L. Banister, 39, Oregon, a city citation for the ordinance violation of unlawful burning. This violation occurred on the right of way at North Nohe Avenue and E. Center Street.

Nov. 10

At 11:34 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a physical domestic call in the 600 block of S. 5th Street resulting in the arrest of James A. Porter, 38, Oregon, for domestic battery and resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Porter was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Nov. 13

At 3:53 p.m., Oregonj Police issued Lisa Schnulle, 50, Mt. Morris, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 200 block of E. Washington Street.

At 6:07 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Matthew J. Leopold, 43, Winnebago, for driving while license revoked. Leopold was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.

Nov. 14

At 5:17 a.m., Oregon Police issued Jason E. Charlet, 33, of Kewanee, a citation for speeding, 49 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

At 12:20 p.m., Oregon Police issued Scott B. Cuvelier, 66, of Fort Meyers, Fla., a citation for speeding, 57 mph in a 35 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1300 block of Pines Road.

At 7:59 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kathryn D. Evans, 53, Rockford, a citation for speeding, 42 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

At 8:18 p.m., Oregon Police issued Devante M. Wesley, 20, Rockford, a citation for speeding, 42 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 700 block of N. 4th Street.

At 9:06 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jessica A. Peterson, 37, Mt. Morris, a citation for speeding, 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

At 1:30 p.m., Oregon Police issued one 14-year-old male juvenile of Mt. Morris a city citation for possessing tobacco products and/or alternative nicotine products. This violation occurred in the Oregon High School.

2 parking ticket and 7 verbal warnings issued during the week of 11/08/2021 through 11/14/2021.

Nov. 15

At 9:59 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call around the 700 block of S. 4th or S. 3rd Street resulting in the arrests of three people, being Elijah B. Oluduro, 21, Rochelle, for resisting/obstructing a peace officer; Sara V. Stallone, age 20, Rochelle, for illegal consumption of alcohol as a minor and aggravated battery to a peace officer; and Zachary J. Metzger, 21, of Cedarville, IL, for filing a false police report and driving under the influence of alcohol. All three individuals were transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 700 block of S. 3rd Street.

Nov. 16

At 6:09 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Michael L. Pearce, 63, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for aggravated criminal sexual assault. Pearce was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Nov. 20

At 1:17 a.m., Oregon Police issued Ashton K. Rutherford, 25, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 300 block of W. Washington Street.

At 6:22 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Quentin L. D. Hanson, 29, Rockford, for driving while license suspended. Hanson was transported to the Ogle County Jail. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.

At 9:32 p.m., Oregon Police issued Colin P. Bucchi, 16, of St. Charles, a citation for speeding, 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the area of 4th and Fair Streets.

ORDINANCE REMINDERS:

12.08.010 Unlawful Burning

Only dry branches, leaves and grass clippings can be burned in the city limits. Branches shall not exceed 1 1/2 inches in diameter. No burning shall commence prior to 10:00 a.m. nor shall it be allowed later than sunset. All non-recreational fires must be extinguished by sunset. Smoldering is not allowed at any time. Burning permitted no earlier than March 1 and shall end no later than November 30 of each year. No burning shall take place on any right-of-way, street, or alley in the city limits. All fires and burning shall be supervised and attended at all times by an adult. No yard waste shall be transported into the city limits from outside of the city.

24.16.010 Paragraph K: Parking On Street After Snowstorm:

  1. After a snowfall of one inch or more has accumulated on the public streets the following rules will apply:
    1. Vehicles must be parked on the side of the street where the even-numbered building or house would be located between the hours of 7:00 a.m. on that day and 7:00 a.m. of the following day on even calendar days.
    2. Vehicles must be parked on that side of the street where odd-numbered building or house would be located between the hours of 7:00 a.m. that day and 7:00 a.m. of the following day on odd calendar days.
    3. Any person who violates this paragraph K,1,c shall be fined per the fine schedule.

Nov. 22

At 8:54 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Corey D. Kelchner, Sr., 37, Rochelle, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Kelchner was issued a recognizance bond and was released.

Nov. 24

At 11:30 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Tyree J. Olarge, 22, of Joliet, IL, for driving while license suspended. Olarge was also issued citations for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper cannabis container as a driver. Olarge was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 900 block of W. Washington Street.

Nov. 25

At 1:19 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Christopher R. Weber, 42, Byron, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Weber was also issued a citation for improper lane usage. Weber was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 500 block of Gale Street.

Nov. 26

At 6:40 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Gary M. Tabor, 34, of Harmon, IL, on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Tabor was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Nov. 28

At 1:08 a.m., Oregon Police issued Sharla J. Robbins, 66, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 900 block of W. Washington Street.

Nov. 29

At 12:47 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Kristopher M. Mockovak, 20, of Shannon, on two outstanding Ogle County warrants for failure to appear on a burglary charge and a failure to appear on a theft under $500 charge. Mockovak was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Nov. 30

At 3:08 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of S. 9th Street resulting in the arrest of Breanna T. L. Lloyd, 22, Oregon, for domestic battery. Lloyd was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 6:36 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Paul C. Hermes, 27, Dixon, on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Hermes was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Dec. 2

At 11:56 p.m., Oregon Police issued Dominique L. Penn, 32, Mt. Morris, a traffic citation for no valid driver’s license. A passenger in Penn’s vehicle, Searcia L. Warren, 33, Mt. Morris, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for failure to appear, one out of South Dewitt County, IL, and one out of South Ford County, IL. Warren was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 500 block of W. Washington Street.

Dec. 3

At 9:55 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Shauntai S. Reyes, 34, Rockford, on an outstanding Whiteside County warrant for failure to appear. Reyes was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 9:16 p.m., Oregon Police issued Ryan M. Henry, 32, Rochelle, a traffic citation for speeding, 52 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. Daysville Road.

 

Dec. 4

At 11:15 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Monica K. Miller, 42, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Miller was transported to the Ogle County jail.
