Feb. 15

At 5:11 p.m., Oregon Police issued Austin D. Mitchell, 18, German Valley, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4^th Street.

Feb. 17

At 9:02 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a car vs sign at the corner of W. Washington and N. 2^nd Street involving a 2009 Chevrolet driven by Debra L. Grove, 72, Oregon. No citations were issued.

At 8:20 p.m., Oregon Police issued Edward H. Hendrickson, 59, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 400 block of S. 6^th Street.

Feb. 18

At 5:08 p.m., Oregon Police issued Erika L. Austin, 17, Sterling, a citation for speeding, 43mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4^th Street.

At 5:08 p.m., Oregon Police issued one female juvenile, 17, of Sterling, civil citations for possession of cannabis not more than 10 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. These violations occurred in the 600 block of N. 4^th Street.

At 8:57 p.m., Oregon Police issued Madyson M. Clark, 17, Chana, a citation for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of Adams Street and Hawk Drive.

Feb. 19

At 3:58 p.m., Oregon Police issued a citation to Michael R. Hurst, 41, Davis Junction for unlawful window tint. A civil citation was also issued to Hurst for possession of cannabis not more than 10 grams. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. 4^th Street.

Feb. 20

At 4:45 p.m., Oregon Police issued Damien R. Jacobson, 20, Oregon, a citation for operating a vehicle with a loud muffler. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4^th Street.

At 5:10 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jeffrey D. Corcoran, 64, Oregon, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4^th Street,

At 5:44 p.m., Oregon Police issued Matthew J. Rogers, 33, Oregon, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4^th Street.

Feb. 21

At 6:50 p.m., Oregon Police issued Megan A. McLain, 23, Freeport, a citation for speeding, 44mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4^th Street.

At 9:07 p.m., Oregon Police issued Shayann L. Stone, 25, Oregon, a citation for speeding, 44mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 400 block of N. 4^th Street.

At 10:20 p.m., Oregon Police issued Tobias M. Whetsel, 38, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of Oregon Trail Road and W. Washington Street.

Feb. 22

At 10:42 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the parking lot of the 300 block of N. 3^rd Street where a 2014 GMC driven by Cory J. Schroeder, 31, struck a parked 2014 Ford belonging to Christine A. Wegrzyn, 53, Oregon. No citations were issued.

Feb. 23

At 8:50 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Kristopher M. Mockovak, 19, Mt. Morris, and Amanda F. Swanson, 20, Mt. Morris, both were charged with theft by deception. Both Mockovak and Swanson were transported to the Ogle County jail.

20 parking citations and 13 verbal/written warnings were issued from 02/17/2020 through 02/23/2020.
