At 6:06 a.m., Oregon Police responded to the 800 block of S. 10th Street for a one vehicle traffic crash where a 2006 Saturn driven by Shane A. Imel, 29, Oregon, struck a fire hydrant. No citations were issued.
At 10 a.m., Oregon SRO Officer issued a city citation to one juvenile female, 15, Mt. Morris, for violating Ordinance 6-84, possession of tobacco products and alternative nicotine products. This violation occurred at the Oregon High School, 210 10th Street.

At 1:28 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Cindy L. Naylor, 48, Dixon, for possessing an improper container of cannabis as a driver. Naylor was also cited for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Naylor was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
March 1
At 4:36 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Carrie A. Cowley, 30, Mt. Morris, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Cowley was also issued a citation for driving while license suspended. Cowley was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block N. 3rd Street.
At 6:21 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jesus M. Martinez-Ochoa, 27, Rockford, a citation for no valid registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 2nd Street.
At 6:58 p.m., Oregon Police arrested James D. Wright, 39, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge. Wright was also issued a citation for driving while license suspended. Wright was transported to the Ogle County jail.
March 2
At 4:35 p.m., Oregon Police issued Adam M. Peterson, 30, Polo, a citation for operating a vehicle in violation of the tinted front side windows law. This violation occurred in the 1300 block of Pines Road.
March 3
At 10:43 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of W. Washington and Monroe Streets involving a 2018 Jeep driven by Betty L. Wells, 83, Mt. Morris, and a 2022 Freight Liner semi driven by Daniel L. Knight, 44, of Roscoe, IL. Wells was issued citations for failure to yield turning left and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. There were no injuries and both vehicles drove away from the scene.
At 3:10 p.m., Oregon SRO Officer issued a city citation to one juvenile male, 17, Mt. Morris, for violating Ordinance 6-84, possession of tobacco products and alternative nicotine products. This violation occurred earlier in the day at the Oregon High School, 210 10th Street.
March 4
At 7:03 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Diane L. Harrod, 53, Byron, for retail theft and on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for aggravated battery/use of a deadly weapon. Harrod was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 5:19 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Nicholas Gazdowicz, 30, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for domestic battery. Gazdowicz was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 7:28 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Dustin J. Johnson, 41, Oregon, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Johnson was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Monroe Street.
At 10:24 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 900 block of S. 4th Street resulting in the arrest of Jeremiah J. Pumfrey, 32, Oregon, for domestic battery. Pumfrey was transported to the Ogle County jail.

March 7
At 1:30 p.m., Oregon SRO Officer issued one 17-year-old male juvenile, Oregon, a civil citation for possession of cannabis not more than 10 grams, a civil citation for possession of a wax-like substance containing THC and issued a city citation for violating Ordinance 6-84, possession of tobacco products and alternative nicotine products. These violations occurred in the Oregon High School student parking lot. The student was then released into the school’s custody.
At 2:26 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jamie L. Sparrowgrove, 35, Rockford, a citation for operating a vehicle in violation of the tinted front side windows law. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th St.
March 8
At 3:42 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street involving a 2015 Dodge driven by Angela J. Harrolle, 45, Chana, and a parked 2019 Nissan owned by Jessica L. Kiesling, age 37, Oregon. No citations were issued.
At 4:02 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Uriel Moreno, 32, Rockford, for driving while license suspended. Moreno was also issued a citation for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended. Moreno was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 500 block of N. 4th Street.
At 6:43 p.m., Oregon Police placed one 15-year-old male juvenile into limited custody for the offense of battery. The juvenile was released into his parent’s custody with a referral to the State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
At 9:49 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Jeffrey M. Billeter, 64, Byron, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Billeter was also issued a citation for improper lane usage. Billeter was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
