Aug. 12
At 9:40 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Noelle C. Batson, 32, Oregon, for driving while license suspended. Batson was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 400 block of S. 4th Street.
Aug. 14
At 12:16 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a traffic crash in the parking lot of the Casey’s gas station, located in the 900 block of W. Washington Street involving a parked 2015 Volkswagen belonging to Amanda A. Beauchem, 29, Oregon, that was struck by a Baja Warrior 200 recreational vehicle driven by Christopher S. Garrett. Garrett was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license revoked. Garrett was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration, vehicle not equipped with a turn signal, driver failure to be protected by glasses, goggles, or transparent shield, and a city citation for violating Sec. 6-114(d) operation of an unregistered recreational vehicle. Garrett was transported to the Ogle County jail.
On 8/9/19 at 2:06 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a call of juveniles in a vacant building in the 400 block of S. 8th Street. Upon completion of the investigation, conducted between 08/09/19 and 08/17/19 it resulted in the Oregon Police requesting the State’s Attorney file petitions for juvenile delinquency for criminal trespass to a building on a total of eight juveniles; being one 13-year-old female of Oregon, one 14-year-old female, of Oregon, one 14-year-old male of Oregon, and one 16-year-old male of Oregon, one 13-year-old female of Mt. Morris, one 15-year-old male, of Oregon, one 16-year-old female of Oregon, and one 14-year-old male juvenile of Mt. Morris. All juveniles were released to the custody of their parents. This case is being reviewed by the State’s Attorney’s Office.
Aug. 15
At 3:25 p.m., Oregon Police issued one male, 14-year-old juvenile, of Oregon, a city citation for violation of Ordinance 2019-100 for possession of tobacco products and alternative nicotine products.
Aug. 17
At 12:22 a.m., Oregon Police issued Sheikh T. Farhan, 24, of Urbana, IL, a citation for no valid registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 4:00 p.m., Oregon Police issued Damon J. Kennedy, 30, Mt. Morris, citations for operating a vehicle with an expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 300 block of Gale Street.
Aug. 18
At 11:45 a.m., Oregon Police issued Richard N. Cavalier, 18, Rock Falls, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.

At 10 a.m., Oregon Police issued Daniel L. Rosenbalm, 69, Oregon, a citation for a city code violation, being the trash/rubbish/junk ordinance. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of S. 3rd Street.
Aug. 20
At 1:20 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Lover’s Lane resulting in the arrest of Robert J. Sutton, age 29, Oregon, for domestic battery. Sutton was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 6:54 a.m., Oregon Police issued Russ A. Prejna, age 60, Davis Junction, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets.
Aug. 21
At 10 a.m., Oregon Police issued Rick H. Aschenbrenner, 69, Oregon, a citation for a city code violation, being the nuisance ordinance – sec. 6-102(9). This violation occurred in the 600 block of Madison Street.
At 3:37 p.m., Oregon Police issued Todd R. Martin, 60, Oregon, a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk. This violation occurred at the intersection of 5th and Washington Streets.
Aug. 22
At 12:09 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance/citizen assist call at the Franklin Street Pub, 306 Franklin Street, resulting in the arrest of Amy M. Luba, 30, Dixon, for criminal trespass to land, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and aggravated battery to a peace officer. Luba was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 8:02 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 1200 block of Koontz Place involving a 2016 Nissan driven by Tracy R. Melges, 47, Oregon, and a parked 2006 Chevrolet belonging to Sherry L. Marnich, 54, Mt. Morris. No citations were issued.
At 11:46 p.m., Oregon Police issued Vincent P.M. Tabor, 18, Oregon, two civil citations, one for possession of cannabis less than 10 grams and one for possession of drug paraphernalia. These violations occurred in the 5th and Adams Street intersection.
Aug. 23
At 11:11 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 200 block of N. 4th Street involving a 2015 Buick driven by Vada A. Rosenbalm, 90, Oregon, and a parked 2013 Toyota belonging to Gerald M. Stauffer, 68, Mt. Morris. No citations were issued.
At 1:15 p.m., Oregon Police issued Ralph Milliman, 66, Oregon, a city citation for allowing his dogs to violate the dogs running at large ordinance. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Monroe Street.

At 11:55 a.m., Oregon Police issued Paul D. Muhleback, 25, Rockford, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
At 6:52 p.m., Oregon Police issued Brooke A. Miller, 24, Rochelle, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 700 block of E. Washington Street.
At 7:26 p.m., Oregon Police issued Michael L. Nielsen, 24, of Normal, IL, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 200 block of W. Washington Street.
At 8:12 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Megan N. Bushland, 23, Oregon, for driving while license revoked. Bushland was also issued citations for disobeying a stop sign and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Bushland was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred at the 3rd and Franklin Street intersection.
Aug. 25
At 3:54 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Robert A. Drake, 26, Dixon, for driving while license suspended. Drake was also issued a citation for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for no insurance. Drake was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 9:07 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Ralph J. Cremeans, 48, Rochelle, on an outstanding Winnebago County warrant for failure to appear. Cremeans was transported to the Ogle County jail.
