Pork chop sandwich lunch Oct. 9

BYRON – Stop by the Byron St. Mary Church parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for the Kiwanis Pork Chop Sandwich Lunch.

Enter at 220 N. 2nd St. The cost is $8 and includes grilled Eichman’s pork sandwich, chips, cookie, and bottle of water.  This is a drive-through event, so press the “easy button” and treat your family with a pork chop sandwich lunch to go.

All proceeds benefit programs in our community. Kiwanis is a mosaic of ordinary people doing extraordinary things to uplift our communities and serve children around the world. The Byron Club was founded in 1988 and Service is at the heart of every member, united in our commitment and compassion for others.

A Family of Servant Leaders: Byron Kiwanis sponsors “K-KIDS” at Mary Morgan Elementary, “Builders Club” at Byron Middle School and “Key Club” at Byron High School. We collaborate with other area service organizations and businesses … because together we reach more people and have a greater impact on our community. Some of the programs we support include; Mary Morgan Family Reading Night, youth education and sports, high school college scholarships, Byron School PBIS: Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports, Free Breakfast with Santa, benefitting Operation Santa, Crossroads Blues Society, People Helping People Food Pantry, Pegasus Riders, Village of Progress, Neuroscience Research Foundation.
