Byron Police report 3-1-21

Christina Smith, 53 of Rockford, was issued a citation for Improper Use of an Electronic Communication Device.

Jan. 29

Byron Police arrested Taylor Opsahl, 24 of Byron, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Opsahl was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Opsahl was also issued citations for Failure to Carry Driver’s License, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and Improper Left Turn.

Feb. 3

Quinlin Tofa, 22 of Rochelle, was issued a citation for Speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

Feb. 4

Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred in the 100 block of S. Union.  Involved were Bradley Dieterman, 48 of Forreston, and Patrick Featherston III, 23 of Byron.  Dieterman was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Turning Left.

Feb. 6

Frank Spielman, 65 of Byron, was issued a citation for Improper Backing.

Feb. 12

Latrese Holliman, 26 of Rockford, was issued a citation for Driving While License is Suspended.

Feb. 13

Matthew Johnson, 45 of Sycamore, was issued a citation for Speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

Scott Redosevich, age 45 of Oak Lawn, was issued a citation for Speeding 49 in a 30 mph Zone.

Ignacio Arellano, age 65 of Chicago, was issued a citation for Speeding 47 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

Feb. 20

Robert Adolph, 59 of Byron, was issued a citation for Improper Use of Electronic Communication Device.

Feb. 21

Byron Police arrested Michael Singley, 21 of Forreston for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Singley was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Singley was also issued a citation for Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Vehicle Damage.
