OREGON – Colton M. Gawlik, 20, of Oregon, died Tuesday April 23, 2019 in Denton, Texas. Born March 2, 1999 in Colorado Springs, Colo., the son of Denise Gawlik.
Colton was a 2017 graduate of Oregon High School and a member of the Army National Guard. He was employed as a Security Guard by Allied Universal in Texas. Colton enjoyed travel, playing pool and spending time with his friends and family.
Survived by his mother, Denise Gawlik of Oregon; grandpa, George Yara; aunt, Debbie Stuart; uncle, Aidan Stuart; and cousins, Michael, Paige and Ryan Clayton.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Gawlik and Phyllis Yara.
A Memorial Service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday May 18 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon preceded by a visitation beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
